Colonial Stellar Probe Explorer Craft,  MATTEL, open, Very Good Condition, in storage since 1978-79
(1) Owner. In storage since 1978-79. This is a revised,
non-launchable
missile version of toy.
INCLUDES:
modular fighter and rocket that are customizable into various craft, a removable 2" pilot figure (in cockpit in photos), instruction sheet, and
"push button and pretend to launch, laser torpedoes move forward but will not leave toy".
This was a prized, protected and beloved toy.

CONDITION:
Very Good
Used Condition
EXTERIOR:
Overall wear and tear, Very Good integrity of box, Very Good color.
FRONT:
Crease upper & lower left of front panel, box corners have stubbing and some creasing, dent impression along top edge of main box near planet edge, but integrity is sound and colors are bright & clean.
BACK:
wear & tear & stubbing on corners and edges, old 1978 tape over flaps, with residual glue from that tape apparent on box, great color and overall integrity of box.
SIDES:
left
side has original Target price tag, wear & tear & stubbing on edges, original tape over insert flap going to back.
right
side has wear & tear & stubbing on corners, tape also over insert flap going to back.
bottom
has impact dent on top left edge, wear & tear & stubbing on corners, bright colors.
OVERALL:
GOOD
color and integrity, obvious wear, tear, creases and stubbing...as well as tape on flaps.
INTERIOR PIECES:
Fighter
in great shape, with vintage aging to white color but still bright, most wear & tear on bottom of ship, completely intact and with all permanently attached torpedoes,
decals in great condition

in great shape, no major damage - occasional scratches or dings, general aging of white color,

Instruction Sheet
tanning of paper, more noticeable on lower third of paper, obvious fold marks, no tears, no rips, no writing, no stains. Back side shows all various combinations of craft to be made by contents.

Note: I did
not
try to take all of these apart and create variations in
2018
. It's been in storage since 1979. Integrity of pieces is fantastic, but it might require a soft touch to separate individual pieces. Be kind and enjoy.
